T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S III Receiving OTA Update
If you are a T-Mobile user with a Samsung Galaxy S III you may want to watch out for a new OTA update for you device. Either that, or you could head over to Kies and grab yours manually. There is a new update that brings the phone to build T99UVLH2. The official changelog details the following changes in this update,
- Resolved the error, ‘Enter MAC address' after entering the correct MAC address in the Mobile HotSpot configuration page if the MAC address entered did not contain the colons (
or spaces. - Resolved issue where the contents of a Home screen folder would be rearranged alphabetically after a reboot.
- Resolved issue where the name does not populate when trying to add a contact with NameID information, you must manually add.
Aside from these official fixes, we are hearing reports that this update also brings a brightness slider, a new modem, a new kernel, and sadly removes universal search (Apple's lawsuits reveal their results again).
