Amazon Appstore Update - New UI and International Users Now Welcome

There were some major changes today to the Amazon Appstore App. Starting this morning, Amazon has enabled international users to take part in the Appstore for Android. They have also given the entire app a new user interface.

Another key addition in the update is ability to finally remove apps from the “My Apps” list by long pressing them.

When will this work? It is something that would be great. Am tired of all the apps showing that I have tried & then not liked & deleted & yet they keep on showing in the My Apps list forever.
Have tried to do the long press thing on my phone & my two tablets but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. My Amazon Appstore app is current. It doesn't say that there is an update when I check.

Do I have to delete the current app & then reinstall the new app?

Never mind - figured it out for myself. Had to delete current app & install the new app & that worked fine. Did this on both of my tablets & my smartphone.
