LG's Video Shows They Are Serious About the Camera in the Optimus G

For the first time in quite a while (if not ever) we can say that the newest and most exciting flagship phone to talk about is an LG product. The LG Optimus G has been making waves since its first rumors, and the official announcements only served to stoke that fire further. Between its next-gen quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chip, 2GB of RAM, and a true HD IPS Display, the phone is a beast of specs. It also will have a slim and elegant design aesthetic, which is pretty important too.

One other important thing that we can't forget is the camera. In the past, LG has skimped on this feature a bit. With the new Optimus G, that is a thing of the past. In the video above you get to see a lot of the technical features of their new 13MP camera. In the end, the camera we will reserve judgement on the camera until after we have seen it in use. Regardless, it's a huge step up for LG, and might be pretty competitive with some of the other flagship phone cameras.
