Asus: T-Prime Update Available for Download & TF101 Rumored to Get Jelly Bean Soon

We have a couple of pieces of useful news for you guys this afternoon. The first one is that the Asus Transformer Prime update is now available for download for folks who want to manually install it instead of waiting on the OTA. ASUS posted the full update file on their support site. If you want to grab it you can head over to this link: Asus Service and Support. The Android 4.1 firmware is 318.98MB in size and is version V10.1.2.15.

Don't forget that you will need to be on the most recent official software version in order to update to Jelly Bean. Enjoy!

Also, our second piece of news is that we are hearing rumors that the venerable TF101 might actually get updated to Jelly Bean sometime "soon." There is no official word on this yet, but it supposedly comes from an insider source, so it could be solid intel. As always we will keep you apprised.
