Sprint's Version of the LG Optimus G Already Rooted Before Its Release
Here's proof positive that the amazing developer's in the community work really fast. Apparently, the Sprint version of the LG Optimus G flagship phone has already been rooted, before it has even launched! Before you wonder what sort of time-travelling shenanigans could precipitate such an amazing situation, remember that the device has actually already launched in Korea. Fast-working devs already figured out that the method for rooting the Korean version will also work on Sprint's version. The process seems fairly simple. Interesting, since I'd assume that Korea (like most of the world) uses GSM, while Sprint and that other carrier here in the US are CDMA. There are significant differences between a GSM phone on AT&T or T-Mobile and a CDMA device.
