Rooting Droid1 with a Mac through Ubuntu

So tonight I felt like playing around with Ubuntu a bit so I decided to make a fresh back up and try to flash an sbf file through "sbf_flash" on Ubuntu. Turns out it is extremely easy to do so, much easier than RSDlite in fact. If enough people are interested I will make a good (as best to my ability) write-up of the whole process. It worked like a champ. I am running a free Virtual Machine called "Virtualbox" and I burned the latest release of Ubuntu onto a CD and installed it through Virtualbox. Again let me know if you guys would be interested in a write-up. I am not the most organized person when it comes to putting together tutorials but I will try and if a mod or admin wants to clean it up a bit, that's cool too.
To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.

I love vbox. I use it for Ubuntu, chrome OS, and OSX(once). The only downside to it is the speed. It can get slow at times. That is why I will dual boot my laptop instead of using vbox.

There is not much to look at in this signature.

so far it has run pretty quick on my Mac. In fact when I have Ubuntu running I find it's OSX that runs slow.

Awesome, I am a bit under the weather and just took some NyQuil, you know to help me get some zzzz's, so I plan on being asleep early for once but I will take a stab at it tomorrow.

PS Did you guys like my Nyquil product placement in my post? I know you are asking yourselves if I get paid by NyQuil to plug their products, well the answer is...............no, no I don't.
