Yes, we know how to root and that is not what I am asking. There are a lot of reasons that one may want to root. I want to know what their reason is. Usually there are people that try rooting and wind up messing up their device.

Personally i need root access for remove manufacture pre installed apps, and install some root access needed apps. But i already know how to backup android system to my computer without root permission ( using Myphoneexplore).
