Can I Root My LG Optimus V Without a PC? Is It Safe?
I have an optimus v, android 2.2.1, and have no computer access. Can I root with no pc, and is it safe. My obvious fear is that I'll end up with a brick and no pc to fix it. If Virgin Mobile would release a gingerbread 2.3 update I'd b happy, but till then rooting is the only way for newer OS? Help me please....

I downloaded it. What do I do, and also, is it true that if I ever do a factory reset in the privacy and settings menu, that it'll brick the phone?
