Hello,

I have the google Nexus S through T-Mobile. I dropped it into water the other day. I since then placed it in a bag with rice to dry it out. The phone works just fine other then not reading my SIM card. Is there anything else i should be doing to get this fixed?

Thanks

You could try a different SIM - it's easier than replacing the phone...?

I wish you luck!
I've had good and bad water experiences, and I know which I prefer... xD

Leave it in the bag of rice for at least a week and keep it sealed like a ziplock baggy. The tight spaces in the phone are going to take a little while to dry out, you could still be experiencing a short circuit because of this and is why it won't read the sim card.
If you ever come across "desiccants", buy a bag of them, worth their weight in gold. I bought a bag of 100 at a gun show for $4 a while back and they have saved my butt more than once and most recently my Nexus 1.
