You should start with Java studing first.
I reccomend to read these lessons
Complete list (http://startandroid.ru/en/lessons/complete-list.html)
It includes installation guides!
That's how i started on my way.

Late response (new to forum), but hope this helps new programmers.

Until Studio is out of beta testing, you are best of starting with Eclipse (as you did). You can easily download it, as well as all required SDK packages from the Google developer page: Android SDK | Android Developers (http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html)

On this same page, you will also find a training page, with many examples to get you started, including a great 'My first app' tutorial to get you on your way. You can find it here: Getting Started | Android Developers (http://developer.android.com/training/index.html)

After this, stackoverflow is a great site to find answers to your programming questions. Dont start by making threads, start by using the search function, your question is most likely already posted.

Good luck and have fun!!
