I was given this Android M Motorola verizon phone from my friend who does not need it or use it anymore but it's got his ownership all over it, how do i delete his information and account settings, as when I want to use it for internet its always opening up his email address and asking for password but he told me i haver permission to delete his account information and ownership so it only recognizes me and my password, as it is its got his information he said he deleted his account information private stuff but it's still got his email and stuff when i try to access internet, i want my information not his. so he said delete his account from this unit. i don't know the sercial number just that he gave me the phone it's a gift old phone from a few years go it's showing wear. HELP!

Simply do a factory data reset then login with your gmail account. Easy peasy! [emoji2]

how do i do a factory reset for this Android m Motorola verizzon phone from 2014, can't find any info on the phone itself.

It should be under settings/general settings somewhere. Each Android is a bit different but they are all generally the same.
