Wow, I'm flattered. No really. Please hold the applause.

But seriously, LOVE this phone. Great speeds. Fast. Battery life is just above average. Don't know what else to say. Great phone for T-Mobile.

No, it's not. I've had the original Motorola Droid, an HTC Droid Incredible, and a Droid X.

You're not kidding. This is a fun phone. If I could get this phone at 4.3 inches or so, it would be phenomenal. Also, I'm waiting for that speed boost, but I'm hearing rumours that this phone is capped at 14.4 Mb/sec which is still fast, but come on. I'll be annoyed if I can't take advantage of those faster rates on this 4G phone.

The various myTouch phones have usually pretty good phones so I don't think your the first ;)

I want to get a second phone for myself, but I can't find anything currently on T-Mo that I want and I don't want to go to Best Buy to get the Nexus S which isn't even 4G. Waiting to see what's coming out this year.

Samsung Galaxy S 4G (Vibrant) will be out next month. Also, LG Optimus X2 (or 2X)... not sure if that's a 4G phone.

Are there ways to root the MT4G and custom ROMs for it? I don't know much about this phone, but both my parents and my sister and bro-in-law have this phone and I'd like to hook them up...

yes of course there is... head over to XDA and check it out for yourself. The actually name for the phone is called HTC Glacier, the MyTouch 4g label is just tmo's branding. I've been running the CyanogenMod 7 Nightlies for some time now.

Hey guys! This is my first android. I've always been a blackberry user for years. But honestly I'm enjoying this one so much!

Sent from my HTC Glacier using Android.net App

Those N1's are selling for big bucks. I feel kind of sad that I let mine go......kind of has a cult following.

Yea if it wasnt for dual core phones on the horizon, it would be a toss up between nex s and mt4g. Ilove the super amoled and 2.3 but mt4g is better at dl speeds.

I was going to buy G2x but I just changed my mind.

I just want to confirm whether this forum is also for the HTC Doubleshot. I didn't find any others here.

If you ask the admins to create a forum for it specifically they will. :) We cover all Android phones, devices, etc, but some are far more popular than others and will have more experts and users able to help out with them, but the staff will do what they can for you no matter what!

:welcome1: to the forum!
