I will believe it when my wallet experiences it - although the same was found for the Atrix, maybe it's a new standard in pricing...we can only hope ;)

Might have something to do with getting rid of mail in rebates.

And also bringing in new customers to higher priced data plans. It'd be sweet if plan prices stayed the same but doubtful.

Great pricing. But for a locked device, no price can be low enough (for me, at least). Especially when the atrix is the same thing, but with better numbers.

We'll see soon exactly what price we're looking at......newsflash about locked bootloaders read that HTC is about to start so it's just not Moto anymore

Yea I heard... It's sad, but I'll go for a lower quality phone if I have to, to get an unlocked bootloader (lower quality other than Moto or HTC, and definitely not Samsung with their lack of support)

Samsung is also locking down their devices with encrypted bootloaders.

Yep pretty much everyone id doing it. Hopefully we can still count on each Google Dev phone being completely unlockable. As long as there is one :)
