If you are looking to grab a Nexus S sometime soon, you might want to check out this deal from Best Buy. The retailer has just offered the T-Mobile version of Google’s latest flagship phone for $99.99 with a 2-year activation.
The deal on the Gingerbread-running smartphone runs from now until March 23, so you have a couple of weeks to take advantage of it. It looks like you have to be enrolled in Best Buy’s Reward Zone program to be eligible and the promo on their website lists the offer as being "in store only." Those interested can head over to Best Buy (https://myrewardzone.bestbuy.com/earning/offersandpromotions/) for details.

If i didn't have 9 months left on my VZW contract I'd consider giving this thing a shot...

I have over a year left on mine, but the real killer is I don't have t-mobile up here. I'd have to drive 40-minutes south just to get a signal. :)

That is a sweet deal. I have my upgrade due, but I think I will wait to look at the new G2X.

Friend's going in tomorrow, and he's off contract but has the sweeter data deal ($20/mo) than he can get now ($30/mo), so unsure if BB will let him grandfather his existing plan and just go under 2year contract or not. We'll see. TMobile themselves would do it, but they want $199 for the phone.

All he has to do is go into BB and if they try saying he has to change, tell him to just call Tmobile. I usually call first before I even go in, even before I go to their stores.
