First I would like to welcome you to the forum. Most likely your not having enough memory is not whether you have a memory card or not. The memory that is referred to is the phone's internal memory. I would suggest looking into getting app2sd app from market.

It moves the apps from your phone to your sd card. If you search and type in app2sd it should pop up.

No, not all apps *can* be moved, nor do you want to. Widgets are some that shouldn't be moved as it will cause them not to work.

Your phone will only support so much data stored in the internal memory and your apps will still require some files installed to it. Browsing cache and other files from everyday use may build up there as well.

If you want to get extreme in clearing up space, you can go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications and clear the cache on any apps you can.
