View Full Version : Weather Application

Hi, newbie here. Just got my Xperia X8 a week ago and its awesome! I have two (2) concerns, One is, what weather app would be the most user friendly and accurate in the market? There are several of these apps on the market and most of them have the same ratings, so i was just wondering which of those apps is the best for the X8. Second concern is that, I came from a symbian phone and whenever i download apps it automatically goes to the mini sd card as default storage or you can go to the settings tab and set the default there. My concern is that why is it on X8 by default it goes to the phone memory and could not be changed? Thanks in advance. More power to our forums and glad to be one of you guys.:android-question:

The SD/app question is one for the ages. I think part of it is to try to prevent piracy.

I'll wait for everyone reading this to stop laughing.

Any time now, guys.

Alright, anyway, you do have to move things manually. This is just a pain in the butt; newer phones with more internal storage are less impacted than older phones with limited internal memory. Any ROM worth its salt should allow installation to the SD card by default -- but you'd have to root and ROM the phone in order to take advantage of this. Try apps2SD in the Market.

Anyway, as for the weather app, try any and all of them to see what works best for you. What I like isn't what you like, etc. Most people I talk to seem to need new shorts after trying Weatherbug Elite, though.
