Hello All,

Yesterday I bought a Acer Liquid Express E320 part no Xp.H7VEN.014 to be used for software development and especially to make a few steps in the NFC department. The acer website states that it should support NFC.

Unfortunately when I want to enable it, I can't. I follow the steps in the manual

Near Field Communication (NFC)
Your device contains a NFC chip that enables it to communicate with other NFC devices to send and recieve tags such as contact information, text messages, and URLs.
To enable NFC, open the Applications menu and tap Settings > Wireless & networks > NFC. The box next to NFC will have a green check when turned on.

But the NFC part isn't there. and when I follow Settings > About Phone > Device information , it says at the NFC part "N".

Do I miss something eg install some software, drivers, update etc.

Hope any one can give me some tips.

Kind regards,

Here also recieved the E320 xp.h7ven.014 and also no NFC.
And there are a lot of sites stating it should have NFC, even the acer site when you enter the SNID.

I did open a Case with Acer Support. They are looking into it. No responce yet, but called them yesterday.

Did you find any explination?

Kind regards
