I have had my new Razr Maxx for about a week now and I could not be more pleased with the phone. I had a LG Ally before this new phone and I feel like I just escaped from some smartphone prison after having to use that phone for 2 years :android-dance:

My experiences with the phone so far are 35-40 hours on a single charge with moderate use, heavy use (games, videos, streaming, internet, 4G left on) about 24-30 hours so I am very pleased that I can make it through a full day of classes and going into the night without having to worry about charging my phone.

It was a close choice between the Maxx and the Nexus with ICS but imho with the battery the Maxx topped the Nexus and I can wait for ICS to get a little more mature so hopefully any incompatibility of apps and bugs will be ironed out by the time I get ICS

I would be interested to hear from other Maxx users about their experiences with the phone

I just got mine yesterday, also switched from the LG Ally and it's like night and day between the two.
Still getting everything situated on the phone but so far i like what i see.
Love the looks and feel of this one and it's so easy to use and super fast.
Charged it up full last night so i'm hoping that the battery life is as good as stated.

About 6 months ago I upgraded from my beloved but elderly Nokia E72 to, I shall just say another phone. I swithered about getting the Razr Maxx as it is very extravagant to spend so much on a phone so soon after the upgrade. The "other phone " was so disappointing, just kept finding things it couldn't do that the E72 could. I've had the Razr less than a week and I'm amazed at all the things it can do and so well. Quite simply the best phone I've ever had.

I upgraded from an LG Ally to the RAZR MAXX about a month ago. Compared to the Ally this phone is simply amazing. So far I have had no problems with it and hopefully it stays that way. Anyone have tips or app suggestions to extend the battery a bit more?

From Blackberry Pearl to Curve to iPhone 3Gs to Galaxy S1, S2, Droid Bionic, Razr MAXX.

Wouldn't trade in my phone for anything else... well... except the Razr MAXX HD. :D
