Hi, I got the Samsung Infuse 4G phone. I wanted to know what is the best way to have longest battery life and what is the best way to save your Data. In the Iphone you can turn on E (Cellular Data) and not 3G, to save data, though much slower. Can you do that on this phone? Also, when I go to create a text message, all the contacts like from gmail or whatever come up, I don't want that, how can i just have my contact list from the phone numbers in my phone.

Screen brightness plays a big role in battery consumption. You can turn on and off features like work gps bluetooth from the notification bar. Also turning on and off sync auto and background service can increase your battery. There's also apps that can help but I don't use them. As for 3g/2g Samsung left that option off but there's apps you download to set up a widget for those options. I use power widget. As for the contact numbers go into your contacts and hit the menu button for options. Select more and select display. From there you can pull open all linked contacts and check what you want displayed.

Also disenabling your Wi-Fi settings until you need them and use background sync sparingly instead of having it run in the background constantly.

I am still staying with Samsung. My Captivate drove me nuts.

My first, purchased on Black Friday in Nov. last year lasted three
weeks before I had to replace it in December 2010. From then until
last night, it was a nightmare.

Customer Care with AT@T agreed to totally replace it with the Samsung
infuse, no charge or cost to me. Of course I had to sign up for a new two
year commitment. However, I have 30 days to give it a try. If I no like,
then back it goes to AT@T. It does have a 1 year warranty also.

I sure hope the Infuse works for me!!
