So I guess no one is posting here.. Since I am now using this phone, I will start transporting information for XDA over here that is what I use.

After looking into how to root, I tried the SuperOneClick. This however did not work. So I used

[Kernel]How to Root AT&T Galaxy S2![CWM][Win/Mac/Linux] *VIDEO WALKTHRU* - xda-developers (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1309293)

This is not just a run one program but it is pretty simple.

Put your phone into download mode. (Hold Vol + and Vol - and Power Button), You will see a warning once you do hit Volume up to confirm.
Run Odin from the Zip file Download GalaxyS2ATT/rooting/GalaxyS2ATTRootZedomax.zip at DownloadAndroidROM.com (http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyS2ATT/rooting/GalaxyS2ATTRootZedomax.zip)
Select PDA
Chose the file "SGH-I777-ATTGalaxyS2RootStockZedomaxKernel.tar"
Click Start
Once phone reboots you are rooted

The first link has a video and Pictured step through links if you need them. Please note that this will not only root your phone but install CWM for you. Once you have done this you can easily install any of the ROMs.
