View Full Version : Galaxy Note (GT-N7000) SPlanner & SMS

Hello there,

I was wondering if there are any more options to transfer my sms messages from my old Nokia 6300 to my new Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N7000)?

What I have already tried is:

1. Athg2sms - application found on google play. It does not work because it has some javascript bug in it incompatible either with the "Note" or the initial .csv file produced by Nokia Ovi Suite 3.4.49.
2. SMS Importer - application found on google play. It works but partly. The problem with that one is that it does not read the date from javaclass correctly. All the messages show just one date, that is the date of transfering to another phone but not the dates they were actually sent / received. If the free version which is limited to 100 smses only does not read the date the way it is supposed to I am not really sure that their paid version for unlimited transfering has this bug fixed. The other guess is that it also has some incompatibility issues with the "Note".
3. There is one manual way to do it via Nokia2AndroidSms.exe simple free converter and "sms restore and backup" utility found on googple play but the initial .csv file must be produced by Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1 only. However, it's practically impossible to find this old suite online for downloading the same as it is impossible to find Windows 95 for example.

Any more help, suggestions, ideas would be highly appreciated.

Additionally, my SPlanner (application found on "Note") has one weird blue little line in it. The picture is attached. I cannot seem to find how to remove it and how and where it got there from in the first place. I would be really thankful for any assistance on that one as well!

Welcome to the forum
1) SMS: Nokia to Android - sorry not so sure atm :(
2) SPlanner: Blue line. That the time indicator.
Check the screenshot you posted at 13:06hrs and the line will be at 13:06hrs. Try open it again and you will see it will follow your clock :D

Hope it help :D

Thank you, Astrix! I figured this out when I noticed this line moving by itself.;-)

I noticed I also could't post in this forum via any web-browsers via my mobile phone directly. The only option was to download the mobile application if I wanted to post any replies at all. I think forum admins could take a closer look at it.

My Android version is 2.3.6 but it won't let me use this form via regular web-browesers... I have tried integrated into my Samsung Galaxy Note "Internet", Opera, Google Chrome, and FF and none of them worked. The only way for me was to download the mobile version (if I wanted to use it on my mobile on the go) or to use my regular computer.

Hi - i am new to the forum... looking for answers to a problem with S-Planner...I have just bought the Samsung Galaxy S3 with Ice Cream Sandwich. I love the phone and Android system. However I am trying to find a way to get events in the S-Planner app. to repeat every 2 weeks. The choices are annually; monthly (by day or date); weekly and daily. Any suggestions as to haw to fix this? (The iphone crowd in the house just think this is too funny)

Athg2sms didn't work for me and neither did SMS Backup & Restore. Guess I had to new version of Nokia PC suite installed as posted by different users as well. Nevertheless I managed to rewrite the Nokia csv-file into the xml code required by SMS Backup & Restore (using xls) and could then upload the xml with SMS B&R. Xls included in case someone else gets frustrated ;-) Hope that helps
