With ASUS quickly becoming the leader with the Transformer and Transformer Prime, I'm betting that next year ASUS could do the same thing with Android Phones. I was very impressed with the overall quality of the Transformer. If they can deliver that into a phone powered with Tegra3 and ICS, look out! ASUS could take some market share away from the other guys.

If it looked good with the right specs and looked decent I would consider it.
Curious about the Padfone... All these manufacturers need to start making them w/o physical buttons though, for ICS.

I would consider it too. ASUS used to be a low to mid range electronics manufacturer, but kind of like Hyundai & Kia....after awhile they branched out and started making some real quality vehicles. Same thing with Asus, especially after producing a quality Nexus tablet 7. :D
