Problem Flashing New Themes. Please Help.

I've flashed to BACKsides latest ROM with green machine theme flashed as well on my optimus v. Downloaded a Blue marble CM7 theme and even Cool Blue theme zip for BACKside ROM.

I format cache and dalvik, then install from SD, flash and reboot, but everytime I do it boots to the end, vibrates ( at which point it usually boots to lock screen) but keeps blank screen and will vibrate or bump every 30 seconds, never booting all the way up.

Any ideas? Also, CM or BACKside ROM better?
