I just heard about the V970M (which I think is almost identical to the V970 and N986??) as an unlocked phone sold on Amazon for $220.....sounds very similar to, and almost as good as, an Nexus 4, plus has expandable memory (which I really like) and dual SIMS (which I don't need) at a much lower price. OS is older. It is hard to find much info about this phone, or anybody who has compared it to the Nexus 4. It got a 5 star rating on Amazon, but that is based on only 4 reviews.

Can anybody comment on how well this phone behaves....call quality/ signal strength/ reliability/ customer service etc???? And if this phone is, indeed, comparable in quality to the Nexus 4? Also, is it compatible with services such as Straight Talk? If quality is similar to the Nexus, it sounds like a great buy, and the expandable memory would cinch the deal.

Thanks.

Hello,

I'm a newbie to this forum and have recently purchased a ZTE V970M.

While much of the interface is intuitive I cannot find my sent items or drafts, I have been searching everywhere for the answer, including the full user manual, web searches and contacting the seller of the phone, all to no avail. What prompted me to orignally to want to review all my sent items was as soon as I purchased the phone as it is dual sim, I inserted my new second sim for personal calls and sent a group text to inform everyone of my new number. The group text sent the message to each recipient twice according to tesco mobile, despite as far as I am aware only sending the message once, obliterating my credit. I wanted to check the sent items to see the message timings as I can find no proof in my conversations/text messages that the texts were sent twice, it states that it was sent to 22 people but nothing more.

The Sent items and draft functions for texts is a facility I continually use so any assistance or ideas are greatfully received :android-dance:
