    Receiving emails

    Hello,

Receive emails on a specific account, which is also accessed from a laptop and desktop. The computers leave a copy on the server. It sometimes happens that emails received on my phone are deleted from the server and therefore cannot be downloaded anymore on the computers. That's very annoying.

There is a setting under 'send settings', 'delete mail on server'; setting is 'off'. But this has nothing to do with receiving.

    anyone?

    thanks!

    Leon

Are you sure that all of the computers that access that account have "leave copy on server" checked? And are you sure someone doesn't have your password? If someone has your password and is receiving your mail, they could be the ones with that option not checked, so that when they receive your mail it gets deleted.

I would change my passwords and see how things go from there.

    Thanks Dorian.

Pretty sure all computers are set for 3 days. The computers are idle at night, and I received the email on my phone at night; the following morning it did not download that particular email. BUT ... do I understand from your response that the settings on the phone are correct?

BTW. What is "Download options" ==> "By days" or "By number of emails", what does that mean?

    Thanks!

    Leon
