    Am I the first?

Hi. looks like I'm the first person to in this forum. I love my DHD. What's the best feature you like about yours? For me I love the way it feels in my hand. Ergo I can't put it down!

First "smart phone" for me,and love it. However, couple of things I dont like.
    Ring volume is terrible.
Hard to see on a bright day, let alone a sunny day.
    The battery is bobbins.
It has to be recharged every night.I,ve read on over forums, that the less apps run ,the longer the battery lasts. But surly that is the point of having these type of phones. To be able to use the apps.If I play a game at lunch time, the battery dies before I get home from work..
Instead of new features(which of course we all love),maybe they should be working on better battery longevity.

Welcome to Android.net Brian! I believe we'll start seeing much better battery improvement on the next generation of android devices.

Welcome to the forum Brian Hoyle. I believe until Google starts regulating how developers create apps and ensure that the apps allow your device to sleep instead of hogging the battery (this includes Google maps) then we will just have to endure short battery life. Main complaint about Sprint's evo is it always searches and never sleeps. Those of us with rooted devices gain a significant amount of increase with battery. However, when people like Glu mobile create games that prevent your device from sleeping, it's rather difficult to have a battery last all day.
