I don't know if there's a way to turn it off or not, but it would depend on what keyboard you're using. If you can tell me that (and if it's set up for the language you're typing in at the time) I can see if I can tell you how.

OT, but is that a new phone I see you sporting, Titanoman?

Yeah. I slammed my S2 in my tailgate, no insurance. I will take this Dart back ($50 restock fee) Dec. 2, when I get my disability check and replace my S2, full price I guess. Good to hear from you again, FBM.

Been sick. Really, really sick. Finally getting better.

Try looking at Swappa yet for a new phone? Might be able to get something a bit cheaper and better, you never know.

    Aaaaaaand back on-topic.

Glad you're better in time for the holidays. Checked out Swappa: I'm adament about the S2; the only one there is new condition, $520. They're $529 at my local T-mobile. But thanx for the insight.

I am located in India. At times while sending a msg or posting some thing on FB it is always that i want to use some non English words which i do not want the dictionary to remember. As in old time phones we had a key pad button to switch off the T9 and put it on any time. As of now what i have to do is type 1 or 2 char use a back arrow and then type which is not very convenient.. Also i wanted to know if there is a way to add Hindi fonts in FB app so posts written in Hindi can be read(I am not interested to post any thing in Hindi for now)

What keyboard are you using? Unfortunately it is an "all on" or "all off" feature with Android keyboards. As in you will have to go through a few steps to turn the word suggestions/dictionary on and off. If I know what keyboard you are using I might be able to talk you through turning it off.
