    Just the download. The mirrors are just in case the main download server craps out. Are you talking about Fresh?

    I am not a fan of CM6 AT ALL. I tried it for 2 days and sure I was benchmarking high but I think the ROM just sucked. It messed with my screen resolution making everything look crappy, and just didn't run as smooth as the sense ROMs.
    Oh yea i was shocked, the fluidity of it is great. And the frames...has me trying out all my games again loll

    Yea same version as your's. I figured i would start with that and if i get lost i can revert back to fresh. Never going stock again

    ...so when i am ready to flash that rom i first wipe (backup already done) then flash rom and reflash the kernel?

    First one just trying to cover myself but so far everything seems very easy

    The kernel that Fresh comes with is a leaked stock kernel so the FPS is still capped. You can flash the kingx kernel over Fresh with great results. When you flash fresh, do it in this order-

    Nand backup > factory wipe > flash ROM > reboot and let ROM load > clear cache > clear dalvik cache > flash kernel

    No prob. Glad you finally took the leap! Rooting really opens up a whole new world for us. I'm a flashaholic now lol
