I really can't stand the screen. Have you compared it side by side with the Evo and compared how text looks? Specifically small white text like icon labels? The pixel spacing on amoled screens makes it very annoying to read small text. On top of it, they are WAAAY oversaturated. Complete and utter dealbreakers for me.

When i pick up my Evo it feels like a quality phone. The slide on the Epic would be a killer for me. I think you said you work construction too and sliders and construction are not friends

Yeah I would destroy that thing in a matter of days.

And you're right, the Evo just feels like a sturdy, quality device. It even looks like a serious machine. The Epic, along with all the other Galaxy S phones feel flimsy and cheap, and I think they look like cheap novelty phones. They look and feel like toys. It's really a shame too, they are powerful devices but I could never own one.

You're 100% sure you put the .zip in your tools folder in your Android SDK?

Can you post a screenshot of the error? I want to see exactly what you're typing and where you're typing it. Was it a c: prompt or a # or $?

I'd imagine he's doing it the long way like I did which does in fact use unrevoked once you've successfully downgraded to 2.1.

'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
    operable program or batch file.
