    As far as I know, Unrevoked does not work with the latest software and hboot version. I'm not terribly familiar with the process involved in getting those EVOs rooted but I know it has been done successfully many times. Check out this thread, hopefully you will be able to find your answers there.

    hey metal head i just want to know how can i tell what version of unrevoked i have becuase they have updated.... also is it safe 2 do the new ota update 3.70.651.1 with losing root.

    If you downloaded it very recently, it is likely 3.3 and should work fine with the most up to date OTA updates to the Evo. I just used it last night without any issues. It also includes the Forever NAND unlock so thats pretty cool.

    I bought my Evo on New Years and just rooted last night, so I know everything was as up to date as possible. If in doubt, just download the file (and windows drivers if you need them) again from their page.
