I accidently removed the gps icon from the home page and would like to put it back. How do I do that?
This is a discussion on how to find things removed within the HTC EVO 4G Tech Support forums, part of the HTC EVO 4G category; I accidently removed the gps icon from the home page and would like to put it back. How do I do that?...

From the Home screen:
Hit the "+" on the bottom right, then tap "App"
Find the icon you want on your home screen. Tap it and you will go back to the home screen. The icon will be lit up. Grab it and drag it where you want. You can also tap and hold a blank area on any of the home screens to bring up the add screen.
I don't know how, but I have removed the ability to get 3G on my EVO. I can only get connected to the internet now, if I am at home linked to my WiFi. I get nothing on the interstate. I live in a 3G world, (not yet if ever in a 4G world). I have a new bluetooth device that gives tons of static, but I didn't actually install anything with it. I am careful to not download apps except thru the market. I don't think I've downloaded anything from the internet.
I am a button hitter. I think I know stuff - but I don't.
Settings for Wireless & Networks:
Wi-Fi on, because I'm home.
Bluetooth off because my Blueant is too staticy, Speaker works better.
Mobile Networks:
Data Roaming: unchecked (will I get charged for turning this on? I think this may be the problem but I'm not sure. I'm pretty cheap, really.)
Data Roam Guard: checked
Enable always-on mobile data:
Roaming: Sprint only
Call Guard: Checked
I'm not in airplane mode. Thanks for checking.
What have I done:confused:
I was wondering if there was anyway to reset the settings without destroying all my apps and phone numbers and everything.
Or are there standard settings (posted anywhere)?
Should I have [Settings/Wireless & Networks/Mobile Networks] Data roaming checked? Will I be charged extra?
Thank you.
Is there a check mark in the box for Mobile Network? Does it say connected underneath it?
