2.2 issues? no wi-fi or Bluetooth

I received the 2.2 update for my HTC EVO on day 1 and have had no issues until this Monday.
When I turn on wi-fi I get "error" after a minute of the phone trying to activate wi-fi. Bluetooth does about the same thing, after trying to activate for a minute it just goes back to the "turn on" message.
I took the phone to a sprint store and they said they don't know anything about an update and there is nothing they can do.
I called sprint tech support and they are going to have an "advanced tech" person call me.
This must be some of the horrible sprint customer support I've heard about.
Any one else have this issue?
Still love the phone just put off by the support.

Have you tried doing a full factory reset?

Hello Metalhead. Yes, I tried a factory reset with no luck. That is why I'm leaning towards the 2.2 update being the culprit.

Well in that case I would call back Sprint and raise hell until they find a solution for you. Are there any service centers in your area that you could take it to?

I'm going to see what happens with the advanced tech person and if they can't resolve the issue I'll start screaming and hollering.
I'm in Charlotte NC and I see Sprint has a call center here and about 8 retail centers but I couldn't find a service center with a google search.

I don't have any problems connecting to WiFi with 2.2 .6. The NOAA Flash weather page loads super fast so I know it's working over WiFi. The 3G icon in the notification bar is replaced with the WiFi icon.

Some people have reported resolution of WiFi problems by resetting their routers. I would try that.

[EDIT] I don't have any Bluetooth devices so I can't comment on that.
I gave my iPhone to my 5 year old and got an EVO.

I've got an update. Advanced tech support was stumped so a new phone is on its way. I didn't even have argue or get upset.

At least if the answer to a question is...i dont know so here's a new phone, you get a new phone. Hopefully the new phone will be free of issues.
