date and time issues

I have had my Evo 4g sense launch and this is the first time I have had this issue.
I am in upstate Ny. But earlier today the date time location switched to koforidua (I don't know where that is, but It's 5 hours ahead). Later the location fixed it's self but the time never did. I have tried a few things but no luck. Any one else have this problem? Any fixs?

I did a little digging online and this seems to be a common issue after the latest OTA. Some people saying a simple reboot solved the problem. Others stated that setting the time zone manually rather than automatic solved the issue. Lastly they recommend a PRL and Profile update. I personally haven't had the issue, but then I'm running a custom ROM.

I ran both updates. when I rebooted the phone after everything worked fine

I had a similar issue. I just manually adjusted my timezone and then reset it to automatic, it worked like a charm!

I tried that too. Only worked until the next date time update.

I have did prl update, profile update, manually adjusted time and time zone. Rebooted my phone. Removed battery. None of these works it continually messes my time up and weather. And it has been doing itsince I did the update. I have the phone since release date and never a had a problem till now.

I just had the problem again for the second time since the update. I adjusted the manual settings and it fixed the issue -- but for how long, we'll see. I hope this type of issue doesn't happen overnight and the alarm fails to go off.
