After reading, and closing out incoming text messages, I find that the screen will always switch to two screens over. I will always be automatically moved to a 'Loading Bookmarks' page, which (like mentioned above) is two pages over. This leaves me having to slide two pages to the left, before I can arrive at the proper screen for replying. It gets to be a pain, and I wonder ifbthere is some setting that I can effectuate to defeat this happening again.

Are you using the stock launcher or a 3rd party one?

You probably have that page as default. Go to the launcher settings and check out the options for homescreens and see which is the default homescreen.
