A coworker and I tried using the Qik video chat application and it was terrible without 4G. The picture was slow and screen kept freezing up, just not good. I hope 4G comes out soon in as many areas as possible to make this feature workable. I want to make calls to family in California and see them. I guess this won't happen until there is good 4G coverage for this to work. This was one of the selling points for this phone. A bit dissappointed.

The Boss (wife) and I both have EVO's so we've tried Qik, and its not bad. This was within the last week, so its post update, not sure what it was like before.

When you say "post update" did you download the new version of Qik from the Market after the 6/28 Evo update?

Tried FRING but had dropped and choppy calls. Tried QIK but it appears to capture the video and then send so it's really not streaming.
