Has anyone changed Voicemail Service on the Evo?
I search though the Evo Forums for this and have not found any post on this topic.
On Settings/Call/Voicemail Service on the Evo has 2 choices:
1. My Carrier
2. Goggle Voice
I'm tempting to use "Goggle Voice" since you can set it up to screen Messages live by answering the call and pressing 2 and if you want to take the call while they are leaving a message you can press the "Pound Key" "#" and start talking to them, like a land line answering machine.
Just want to know how reliable it is as your main Voicemail. Thanks on any input.
I have give my Goggle Voice Phone Number (it is free) and used the Screening feature, but with the Evo phone I'm a little more... Let say careful LOL....

I'be been using Google Voice as my voicemail for months now. Works great. Love the fact that I can create different voicemail greetings for different groups of callers.

No problem!
Love the transcription service, too. Though it isn't always accurate.
Enjoy.
