    I'm pretty sure the G2 has already been rooted. I'm sure once you root the G2 you will be one happy camper

    Sidekick refugee. I'll miss the $20 data plan but not the uncertainty of a (soon to be) unsupported platform.

    Will always keep my Nexus One rooted and loaded. Love this G2, great device, fit and finish very Nexus One like. I think that is what brings many of us Nexus owners to this device. I hope this rooting issue will be resolved. Android is suppose to of been designed for the customer who likes customizing their device. Come on HTC, very surprised T-Mobile could sway you into this ridiculous anti rooting campaign. I have no worries this phone will be permanently rooted.

    MyTouch 3G ->Cliq->Nexus 1->Vibrant->G2

    So far the N1 and the G2 are my favorite of all the android phones I've used. I think I even like my G2 more than my Nexus. All of the goodness of the N1 with a keyboard (which I'm loving coming from mostly touch phones) and the speed!

    GREAT to hear about the speed difference btw. the N1 and G2 (which will be my progression). Curious..were any of you guys running Cyanogen or alternate roms on your N1's, and do the G2's seem even faster than those?

    Nexus One and will ever get rid of it. Love the G2, I want to get a larger battery and some kind of a case. Last, I want to root this bad boy and see what it can really do.Maybe overclock it and holy crap it would take off like a jet. Where to get accessories for this phone? Desk Top Charging dock like I have for the Nexus One would be fantastic. Anyone have any ideas?

    Nokia N85 - too bad Nokia couldn't get on the Android bandwagon. I love their hardware, but they are like RIM, and they have both cut off their nose to spite their faces...
