Videos won't play

When I try to "preview" videos that have been sent to me on my gmail account (.3gp format) I get the message "Sorry, this type of document is not supported for viewing." but I thought .3gp was a supported format???

Also, when I am on facebook and I try to play videos that friends have posted (not youtube videos, they play fine), I get the message "Cannot play video Sorry, this video cannot be played.".

I'm frustrated with the G2 right now and hope this issue can be solved or I might be keeping this phone! :mad: So please help me if you can
