Gallery Not Updating

Ever since I updated my HTC inspire 4g to gingerbread ota, I've had a few issues....
Sometimes my gallery doesn't update. It'll be days or even hours after I have looked at my already updated gallery showing ALL the pictures I have taken or that are on my phone... Then later ill go back, and half my pictures are missing... Eventually, they show up again...

Also, its happen to me on three separate occasions from multiple senders, ill still get sound notifications that I received a message.... But the text isn't there. I have to restart my phone.... And the text NEVER shows up...


Anyone else having these issues? Or know a permanent fix?

I found that if you go into your SD & phone card settings & select unmount your SD card, then select mount SD card, they all come back. Only takes a few seconds.

Yeah, I found that out a few days ago. I'm actually about to back my SD card up on my computer and then format it... And clean it out as well. It's really slow and having issues..clearing the cache alone doesn't seem to be helping with speed... Maybe this will solve that annoying bug as well.

Thank you SO much for this simple and welcome fix to the vexing problem of reestablishing links to existing music and photos on my SD card that could not be found after the Ice Cream Sandwich ungrade to my HTC Sensation 4G phone. I spent hours researching this obscure problem and hope HTC quickly adds your advice to their Q&A page.
