    HTC Inspire Screen Freezes

    I had my HTC inspire for 4 months now and it was working well until it recently
    started to freeze. Does anybody know why its screen freezes and how I can
    make it better? It now freezes almost once a day and have to take the battery out
    and start it again.

    I was having the sane problem I installed a task manager and places a widget on my home screen and use it daily. That worked for awhile then I rooted and flashed the cm7 rom and haven't had the problem since

    My Inspire kept freezing as well. AT&t had to finally replace it. What does "rooting" do for a phone?
