HiSuite Sending Double Messages
I'm sure this is relevant to all Huawei phones, though there doesn't seem much activity here?
Using HiSuite 4.07.300_OVE
With one conversation if I send a text in HiSuite the recipient gets two messages.
At the top of the conversation, at the heading I see +4477xxxxxxx, 077xxxxxxx
I seem stuck with these two identities even though they are the same number of course.
If I send to just the one number on my phone it still gets added to this combined conversation.
Any ideas how to ensure I can send a message in HiSuite so it only gets sent once?
And/or remove the second alias?

NO, and I gave up. If you delete the messages and start afresh it stops being a problem. I suspect if you just delete the messages associated with 077xxxxxxx I suspect that might work too. It seems to treat the multiple contacts in messages as part of a group.
I solved the problem bu getting a Xiaomi for which I could unlock the bootloader. You can no longer unlock a Huawei phone. Their excuse is to improve the customer's experience! From a customer's perspective it was the last straw.
I also moved to Microsoft's "Your Phone Companion" and so no longer touch HiSuite on two counts.
