    hi everyone!

Hi all! I finally registered. I've come to these forums off and on and have always received great advice so I decided to finally join. I've been an android user for over a year now. I started out with the hero and had a great experience with it up until two months ago. I upgraded to the evo shift two weeks ago and I'm not really sure if it is was really worth the upgrade. Nothing about it really wows me. Maybe I'm not giving the phone a chance or maybe I just had my expectations a little high I don't know. Anyways I'm hoping to gain some knowledge about the android system and phones. Thanks everyone

That is an ok phone. Welcome to Android.net. I would ask if you can get back to your hero and wait until mid June?

3D is just another gimmick. I don't see the need for it atm.

Do you know for sure its coming out then? I asked the people at Sprint and they said not for awhile. Is the only difference between the new EVO and the old is 3d? I'm thinking of trading this phone for the current EVO or is the shift better?

If it was me, I'd wait for the EVO 3D. Not so much for the 3D but for the rest of its specs. HTC EVO 3D specs - Phone Arena
