    Unhappy Backup Samsung Fascinate Calendar

After trying every which way possible, I still cannot figure out how to backup by Samsung Fascinate calendar--hopefully to the Google calendar. I know it is supposed to do it automatically, but it does not. I also must have it sync from phone to PC, not visa versa, since that is where my appointments are. Can anyone help me?

Do you have sync turned on in the phone's settings?

Yes, and it acts like it is trying to sync (little wheel turning).

Just give it some time and it should eventually sync. Trying putting in a new event and wait a few hours to see if it syncs.

But what about all the other appts. I have put in my phone? Shouldn't those be syncing eventually?? Nothing comes in that has been put in in the past several months.

You here in the US? If so, are you running stock or a custom ROM?

Yes, in US. And I am doing the regular calendar that came on the Samsung Fascinate phone. I guess that is what you meant. No custom stuff.

Ah, I meant custom ROM, as in you rooted the phone and replaced the firmware.

Try a different calendar app and see if you still have an issue. Because it could be a glitch in the Samsung software as it relates to the Google Calendar.

I'm going to see if I can dig up someone with a Fascinate who might have better understanding on the problem.
