Hi I'm a new htc evo owner and i am the most computer/ techno handicapped dude in history. I bought the phone without knowing it could go to space. well I feel in love with it and had to reset it three days later due to whatever the help I did. I educated myself as much as I could and now I know what's up. so what I am trying to do is find out everything I possibly can about this phone ( what I can do with it, maintenance, apps, protection, syncing, problem and troubleshooting, customizing apps menues and the system hopefully without rooting. purity much dumbing it up fo for me. so i can hook my htc up the best I can with little problems.thanks to all who are willin to help me out and good luck lol .

Welcome to the forum. There is no need for a security/antivirus app. You can download free launcher from market. I suggest launcher pro. Then download different themes (also free). It gives you oppurtunity to change look of phone. If you like music I use music box. There is a ton of games, just type in search area. That's the area that looks like a magnifying glass.
