    Soon to be Android Noob

Hey guys I found this site while I've been doing my search for a new phone. I'm switching to an Android after having a BB for the past 3 years, I'm going to have many questions and will probably get hooked on Android phones.

Android in some ways is much like BB as far customization, but that's it. The Android OS is far more advanced, I had a BB for about a year. Only thing will be choosing the right UI that works for you, like the: HTC Sense, Moto Blur, or Samsungs UI. But Android offers so many possibilities, so welcome and have fun with it.

I kind of see what you mean, but I'm not quite there yet. It all depends on what Apple does with iOS 5. But Android is quickly growing on me. Thats why I joined this forum, I know theres a lot to learn about Android. I will need you guys to show me the ins-and-outs of this OS.

Used to be there was also a "vanilla" Android experience, but the closest you'll come to that is on the Nexus phones anymore -- unless you root and install something like CyanogenMod, in which case you often risk feature overload.

I'm currently deciding on the E3D or Photon as my first Android. I think I'll end up getting the Photon because I need a world phone and the E3D isn't
