Gingerbread audio problem.

Hi. I'm new at this. I'm wondering if anyone else has audio problems after the Australian Telstra Gingerbread update? My Atrix has developed disturbing static and skipping of music files. It was quite severe but since a factory reset and wiping both memory cards it seems to have settled down somewhat. It still comes back sometimes though. I've rung both Motorola and Telstra and all they could suggest was to send it away to the repair shop, which would be my very last resort because they take weeks before you see your phone again. It's obviously due to the update because other small problems are also evident and there were no problems at all before.
