Hey Folks, am on the list awaiting my EVO! I'm really excited and just trying to keep up with what is going on, the tips and tricks, and any advice on how to avoid problems. I've enjoyed reading some of your posts this evening and hope you will have all the answers for me when I need them!

    Hi all,

The name's Rich and yes my last name starts with C LOL (got sick of nicks about 5 years ago.)

Been with Sprint for 8 years. For all of those 8 years i was like the kid in the Verizon? commercial, "I make calls, that's it."

My wife's Motorola i830 died a couple of weeks ago (flex cable) so we decided to go all out. $750.00 later we walked out of the Sprint store with a new Evo and a Touch Pro 2 (WinMo.) I develop web sites and dedicated mobile sites are becoming the norm, so it was time for some advanced hardware to test on.

Talk about going from paddling around in the backwater to riding the tube!

Hey I got my EVO for fathers day to replace my Blackberry (also on sprint)and OMG what a phone can't wait for 4G in NYC and the 2.2 update. The wifi has some issues but if the rumors are true there will be an update today. Does anybody out there know when 4G will be in NYC?

Hello All,have new evo on order. Am currently using an Alltel htc. I have been a Alltel user for the past 20 something years, started out with the bag phone. Was not happy with Verizon after they bought out Alltel. Figured I would switch to sprint and give it a try.

Got my EVO yesterday. WoW--Male 52, Augusta GA. Have an Ipod I love too-Did not want to get another by getting IPhone. Super glad I did not. Completely overwhelmed by the amount of stuff that comes with this device. Came here to find out what OEM apps are free and are premium like all those sprint Nav., Nascar, TV etc. Where do you find that info? Maybe I'll read the instructions. Whoo HOO!
