I've just made the switch from a BlackBerry Tour, to the Epic 4G. I'm VERY Impressed, so far. I'm 35 and from New Jersey. I'm an Avid HAM Radio Operator (KC2UUZ) for you hams out there, and an avid Sailor/Power Boater. I'm sure you'll be seeing me around the forums.

You i balling me or you just like my Evo
LOL thanks! We'll see how it goes. I'm still on my 30 day trial. Having a hard time adjusting to the keyboard layout. :-\ The berry was a lot more comfortable for my hands. I may switch to evo.
The EVO doesn't have a hardware keyboard, and if you type in portrait mode, the keys are very sensitive and it's easy to hit the wrong one.
I would strongly advise trying it out before you switch. It may be a steeper learning curve than the horizontal Epic keyboard.
I gave my iPhone to my 5 year old and got an EVO.
Thanks for that advice Rich. I believe it to be sound. I'll give it a few weeks and we'll see how it goes.
