    New Member Question

New EVO owner here and spouse of an Optima S owner. Love the EVO and have been able to fix any and all quirks so far just from reading forum discussions (even the Sirius XM WIFI/3G fix that not even Sprint has figured out yet) so thank you to all!!
My question: I'm located in an area with no 4G coverage...Do I need to keep paying Sprint that extra $10 a month if I never plan to use 4G?

Hello and welcome! To answer your question, yes that fee is mandatory regardless of coverage and/or usage. It sucks but it's the price to pay for having such an amazing device.
