It's what I'm here for. Sometimes the physical world gets in the way and my responses are late, but I try to be here every day to help.

By the way, did you see that the Bionic is slated for an ICS update at some point "soon"? And have you made sure there isn't an update already waiting for your phone? Just keep in mind that if you update then root may be harder to accomplish if you DO want to root.

No worries, I know what you mean though. Now that you mention it, I think I may have seen something about an ICS update for the Bionic somewhere, on Drippler maybe? Gonna research it and see just what kind of ETA I should expect for that. Rooting does seem like it has some great benefits, trouble with me is I'm don't have any experience with rooting whatsoever, so I'm hesitant to just dive right into it for fear of messing up my phone/voiding my warranty with Motorola. If I'm gonna do it, I wanna do it right.

My phone came with the 5.9.902 update it appears, btw. Unless they added it last Thursday when I got the phone turned on. Other than that and the impending ICS update, i know of no others. Then again I haven't really looked much either

Settings> About phone> Check for updates.

Worth doing just in case. But, yeah, "soon" in the Telecom world could mean anything from 2 weeks to 2 quarters. Don't hold your breath, but lemme tell you... ICS is incredible.
